We are transmitting to you today good news regarding the re-opening of restaurants in Crestview Hills.
As you know, the Commonwealth’s Order on the closing of restaurants ends on Friday, May 22nd. In order to allow the maximum flexibility to our businesses, the Mayor of Crestview Hills today has signed Executive Order 2020-05-01 temporarily suspending certain zoning rules to allow for the expansion of outdoor dining. The order allows extended capacity to serve patrons in designated outdoor areas that would normally be prohibited within the Crestview Hills Zoning Code. A copy of this Executive Order is attached.
Before expanding into parking lots or other areas near your facility, the Order requires the restaurant to provide a plan of where this area will be expanded, and how the criteria within the Executive Order will be met. Please note that a City official may contact you prior to providing written authorization to proceed with the outdoor dining expansion.
Written plans for outdoor dining expansion shall be sent to:
City of Crestview Hills
50 Town Center Boulevard
Crestview Hills, KY 41017
Phone: (859) 341-7373 or Fax: (859) 341-6993
All efforts will be made to provide written authorization for outdoor dining expansion as soon as possible. Restaurants are encouraged to also contact the Northern Kentucky Health Department with their plans for outdoor dining expansion.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me at any time.
