Snow Removal
When winter weather strikes, the City of Crestview Hills strives to provide the best possible service in clearing streets of snow and ice. To do so, they city contracts with the Kenton County Road Department.
Thanks to their support of a dedicated truck and driver, streets can be cleared according to a set schedule starting with the major roads (Thomas More Parkway, etc.), move to collector roads (Lookout Farm Drive, Winding Way, College Park, etc.) and finally to minor subdivision streets.
Depending on the depth and duration of snowfall, it may take several passes to clear problem areas that are an immediate safety hazard and/or along major city roads. If you are aware of particular problem spots, please call:
- The City of Crestview Hills (during normal business hours): (859) 341-7373.
- Police Dispatch (after normal business hours): (859) 356-3191.
Also, please note that residents with on-street temporary overnight parking passes must remove their vehicles from roadways during significant snowfall events. During a declared snow emergency, residents are required to remove vehicles from streets or will be subject to fines and possible towing.
