Pet Laws

Crestview Hills has both a leash and a pooper-scooper law designed to help keep our community healthy and our neighborhoods clean and odor-free.

Under the leash law, it is illegal for animals to run at large on City streets. Under the pooper-scooper law, it is a fineable offense to leave excrement on City streets and sidewalks, in your neighbor’s or your yard, or along roadways in grassy areas.

Also, it constitutes a nuisance to allow animals to annoy your neighbors whether by excessive barking, vicious behavior, or defecating anywhere without properly disposing thereof. This also includes walking your dog on Town Center property.
