For the seventh consecutive summer, the City of Crestview Hills will provide free live music in its annual concert series.
The summer concert series will kick off Friday, June 21st from 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. in front of Joseph Beth Booksellers, 2785 Dixie Highway. Second Helping, a Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute band, traveling from Kinston, NC, will be the headliner. Root Cellar Xtract, a local favorite from the Cincinnati area, will be the opening act.
On Friday, July 26th, the concert series continues with Cincinnati’s premier party band, Soul Pocket.
Rumours, a Fleetwood Mac tribute band, will headline our final concert of the summer. They will perform on Friday, August 9th. The band has been performing together for almost ten years, traveling throughout the eastern U.S. The City is looking forward to hosting this musical ensemble. Local favorite, the Rucca Band, will be opening for Rumours.
The concert venue is located in the Crestview Hills Town Center, at the parking lot in front of Joseph Beth Booksellers. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs for the events. Stephanie Rowe, a Crestview Hills resident, stated, “The free summer concerts are a great time for all ages from little ones to adults. We love reconnecting with our neighbors while enjoying the very talented bands!”
The Summer Concert Series has proven to be very popular within the community and has been well supported by the businesses in Crestview Hills. Councilmember Bill Dorsey said, “The concerts have become a part of the City’s (Crestview Hills) brand.” The City is proud to offer this free entertainment to the region each summer.
