Utility Assistance for Crestview Hills Residents
Now Available!
The City of Crestview Hills has been awarded Community Development Block Grant COVID funding from the Kentucky Department for Local Government. These funds are being administered for the City by the Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission (NKCAC).
This money is here to serve as a resource to families living in Crestview Hills who have been financially impacted by COVID and are behind on utility bills and at risk of utility shutoff. These funds can pay for a resident's utilities arrearages to ensure continuous utility service.
Residents can apply to the NKCAC for up to $1,500 in assistance to pay overdue utility expenses (gas, electric, water, sanitation/sewer). Once an application is approved, NKCAC will submit payment directly to the utility service provider on behalf of the household. Each applicant (one per household) can receive assistance up to $250 a month up to six months.
You DO NOT have to be low income to apply. It is recognized that individuals of a range of incomes have been impacted by the pandemic, including the increased cost of living associated with COVID impact, missed work related to illness, and job loss.
Once again, THERE IS NO INCOME CAP OR QUALIFIER!
Crestview Hills encourages all our residents struggling with utility bills to apply to NKCAC for these funds, while they are available.
Utilities you can receive assistance with include:
- Sanitation District No. 1
- Duke Energy (Electric and Gas)
- Northern Kentucky Water District
